Members, Players, Referees, Coaches and Managers are advised of the death of our past President Ian Pettigrew.
Ian held many positions during his involvement with Hunter Christian Churches Football. He was Fixtures Officer, President and Vice President. A representative player. Federal Park Committee Chairperson. Ian was given Life Membership in 2004.
When anyone didn’t know the answer, Ian was available with wise counsel.
Ian fought hard when aggressive brain cancer returned this year. Willing to try anything to beat it. He was present at son Joel’s wedding earlier this year. He passed away peacefully on Saturday 19 December 2015. Aged 56 years.
A public funeral service will be held at Newcastle City Hall, King Street, Newcastle on Tuesday, 29th December, 2015 commencing at 4pm.
Absent from the body. Present with the Lord.
